The Acceval BCB-1 Control Box (*) is used to control the TPRS (Tire Pressure Refill System) of trailers and semi-trailers. No power supply is required for operation.
Control Box BCB-1
The Acceval BCB-2 Control Box (*) is used to control the TPRS (Tire Pressure Refill System) of trailers and semi-trailers, compliant with UN ECE R141 legislation.
Control Box BCB-2
Advantages:
- Avoid shutdowns in case of punctures.
- Minimise tyre maintenance costs.
- Increase tyre service life.
- Reduce the risk of tyre blowouts.
- Maintain preset tyre pressures to minimise tyre wear.
- Fuel consumption savings.
- Reduction of CO2 emissions.
How does it work?
BCB-1
- Refill control: The mechanical regulator allows air to pass through while the outlet pressure is lower than the set pressure, causing the pressure multiplier to start working.
BCB-2
The BCB-2 control box has a mixed configuration, mechanical refill control, and electronic messaging.
- Refill control: Same as BCB-1.
- Message control: The electronic control unit (ECU) is electrically powered from the CAN Bus port, and receives the information detected by the two pressure sensors (inlet and outlet). Depending on the detected pressures, and the operation of the multiplier, it sends messages via the CAN Bus line (H+L).
